Away From Home

Being the kind of person that takes five pairs of shoes for a weekend away, packing isn’t always fun. There’s so many different outfits I want to cram into a bag that is far too small, not to mention a plethora of books from each genre. We…well, I do…put so much thought into the things I’ll need when I’m away from home.

What if we did that every day? What if, in the morning, we remember all the things we’ll need to embrace the day ahead of us?

A smile. A good dose of kind words. A hard work ethic. A sense of humour. Patience. Self-control. A glass-is-half-full attitude.

Then we’ll be fully equipped for whatever we face that day!

“Put on the full armor of God.”

— Ephesians 6:11
